Waste Management Audits
Site Visit
The initial site visit is where we would look at the intended areas for waste stations or bins. Full measurements & images are taken with a general discussion on each area with the client
Waste Streams
Discussion of your different waste stream requirements. We would also look at the possibility of reducing the waste steams.
Colour Coding
Once we agree on the waste types we would discuss colour coding of the labelling and the bin or station if required. This is important to ensure people use the correct waste stream for the waste they have.
It eliminates any issues from cross contamination of waste.
Branding
We provide customer branding as standard on either the unit or the labelling.
Functionality
What extra functionality do you require? At this stage we would discuss anything else you may require from the bins or stations. For instance is it for outdoor use, do you require the openins to be covered - if so we can provide lift up lids
Do you require the bin to be mobile? We can fit castors or provide a mobile dolly for moving the bins from location to location.
Because we manufacture all our own products in house we can make changes to ensure the bin or station has all the functionality you require
Liquids Disposal
We can provide a Liquids Disposal module for most of our recycle stations. The unit can be incorporated into the product or a modular unit can be provided which can be fixind to the station.
The unit comes with a 25 Litre capacity or comes ready to be plumbed into the maisn if required
Installation
We provide a complete installation service as standard. We would deliver, un pack & place each bin or station in its correct spot, ensure it is functioning correctly & remove all the packaging.

Finish
Our bins are manufactured in a coated steel material called Zintec & Polyester Powdercoated in the customers colour choice. This forms a durable finish on our product, listed below are some of the tests carried out & their results
- Hardness Indentation Test (ISO 2815) - >80
- Adhesion Test (BS 3900) - Classification Gt 0
- Impact Test (BS3900) - > 25Kg cm (N)
- Acetic Salt Spray (ISO 9227) 1000 Hours - Total Corrosion <16mm Max 4mm
- Humidity (DIN50017, BS3900) - 1000 hours no effect
- Accelerated Weathering (ISo 11341, DIN 53231) - 1000 hours residual gloss >50%
- Fire Propagation BS476 Part 6 - overall index performance (1) = 0.0
- Spread of Flame BS476 Part 7 - - Class 1
Cleaning
Hospital Bins should be cleaned on a regular basis using non abrasive or corrosive cleaning chemicals.
We have tested our products using the standard HSE used cleaning chemical Actichlor Plus & we found that it had no adverse effect and was safe to use.
All bins are provided with information required in Label or Screening form, labelling or screening can become faded over time, replacement labels are available on request
Screening & Labelling
Labels are manufactured using a waterproof & chemical resistant material & printed with the relevant information
Screening is produced by printing the relevant information directly on to the product, the ink used in this process has been tested for hardness & resistance to certain non abrasive or corrosive chemicals such as Actichlor (HSE used cleaning chemical)

All Paragon Products are covered by our 24 Month Warranty & come with full Service backup. Details listed below.
Warranty
The standard warranty period for our Healthcare Products is 2 Years, the warranty covers all aspects of the product. Damage caused by wear & tear or misuse are not covered
Servicing
We have a Full Service Department on call to help our customers with any issues. Our procedures are all ISO Certified, which ensures our customers get the same quality of service everytime.
Audits
We offer free of charge Hospital Bin Audits where all bins are checked and assessed with a full report submitted detailing bin details by area, in turn if required repairs we can carry out the neccessary repairs on site. This Audit & Repair system covers all Hospital Bins (including bins not manufactured by Taltech)
Audits can also be carried out on new units to access the requirements for Hospital Bins and related products such as Recycle Bins & Stations, Litter Bins, Ashbins & Smoking Shelters etc..
